NEW SECTION….ONE-OF-A-KIND WOOLS & TEXTURES!

This will be a new section, to show the types wools that I always bring with me to schools and workshops.  As they are one of a kind, I hesitated for years to put them online.
But, as many people have asked, I’ll give it a go!
All of these are hand  dyed by me. (more…)

I was delighted to find this wood dye cabinet in really wonderful display condition, and have kept it for a short while.  But now I am offering it for sale; I always need room in the studio!   If you need more photos to consider, I’ll be happy to email some to you.  I can also deliver this you at a camp i’ll drive to, to teach at.  Or it can be picked up here by appointment.  The price is $950.

Lib Callaway pattern photos wanted!

In anticipation of launching the Lib Callaway patterns to my website this fall. . . I’ve gone through 40 years of photos I took, and added those to what Lib and Margaret had.  There are some wonderful photos!  However, I am searching for photos of rugs that I do not have a photo for. . .or in some cases only one photo.  All these are listed below.  If you would like to contribute a photo via email (which would be used on online with credit given to you as the artist) and also attached to a sold pattern.. .  . I’d be thrilled to have some for consideration!  Of course, I’ll be adding photos after fall, as they come in as well!  Many thanks for your time and submissions, in advance! (more…)

The Lib Callaway Collection of Patterns

Recently, I had the opportunity and great pleasure of purchasing the entire collection of Lib Callaway patterns and printing equipment from the Hook Nook.  I am very excited about being the 3rd owner of these wonderful old designs and look forward to supplying them through mail order, and at rug camps and workshops!  I remember Lib from the 1980’s, and ordered patterns from her, both for myself and for students. . . .and continued to do so after Margaret Lutz bought the business.
