A richly coloured oriental runner, simple and elegant.

Hooked by Jill Talevi, in home class. Jill was able to get all the center done, and had started work on the border when sadly, she was diagnosed with ALS. The runner soon became too heavy for her to hold, so I volunteered to finish it, with whoever from my home class that could contribute their time. It was just too beautiful not to complete. Many thanks to those who were able to help! Jill was delighted to have it back, ready to use.

While perusing photos on Welcome Mat, I saw a familiar design and e mailed the rug hooker. It turned out to be Joan Mohrmann, and she graciously honored my request for a photo to post here!
