This was the final design for my series of 4 pictorial rugs, each showing a different season, and featuring a different quilt border. My challenge for this was to hook it without using any red or white; both major Christmas colours. I was honoured to have it appear in Jessie Turbayne's book, and in Celebrations.

On the right is another "Christmas in the Country", wonderfully hooked by Anne Maharrey. It's always fun working with Anne; we used some of her wools and some of mine. The border colours really complement the interior!

Jennie Adcock hooked this stunning "Christmas in the Country"... we'd started it a few years ago at a workshop. Nice to see it all complete with a fabulous border!

Every time I see "Christmas in the Country" hooked up, it is different and creative. The one by Joanne Montgomery is no exception.
